Chemo and Cake

CongCong started his 2nd round of chemo last week. This "aged-out" orphan in Xi'an, China needs your prayers. The strong chemo medicine is making him feel very sick and weak. Please pray 1) for CongCong's strength and 2) the treatment would be effective against the leukemia!

Kobe and some friends went to the hospital on Friday to visit CongCong. It turns out that Friday was actually CongCong's birthday! Kobe and his buddies brought CongCong a cake and watched him blow out the candles. It is a little after the fact, but late is better than never...would you send CongCong a little birthday greeting? Let's shower him with birthday e-mails! It is hard to spend your birthday in the hospital and since this 2nd round of treatment is so rough, I bet he will enjoy some happy birthday wishes all the more!
